Loving the serene landscapes and calmness of Jeffry Surianto's photos. He has a great eye for spotting beautiful landscapes and capturing people in their element. I like how he captures people in the moment as opposed to staging them. It gives the photos a more genuine feel.
Nathan Spotts has always been captivated by the beauty of the world and often imagines what lies just beyond what we can see. It definitely shows in these fantastic photo manipulations he created with that concept in mind. They are images of scenes are not quite real, but feel like they could be. The last four images are the second part of the series where he creates scenes one might wish were real.
The Strange Worlds project by Matthew Albanese is one of the most creative and interesting projects I have ever seen.
According to Albanese: "My work involves the construction of small-scale meticulously detailed models using various materials and objects to create emotive landscapes. Every aspect from the construction to the lighting of the final model is painstakingly pre-planned using methods which force the viewers perspective when photographed from a specific angle. Using a mixture of photographic techniques such as scale, depth of field, white balance and lighting I am able to drastically alter the appearance of my materials."
