Luis Beltrán is a digital artist from Spain that has a way with images. He masterfully combines photos and illustrations to create memorable, surreal and thought provoking works. Each one pulls you in and forces you to create a story for it. He truly has an eye for art and storytelling. Below each image, I will give you my interpretation of it.

This shot of the sunrise has a wonderful mix of pink and blue.

This photo captures some sharp reds and orange along the horizon and some more subtle shades as you get further away.

This photo has very vibrant red, orange, and yellow, contrasted by the silhouettes in the foreground.

This is an awesome photo of the Multiverse Light Sculpture was taken by Elie R on Flickr. It feels like you are being warped into a new dimension. It was taken with a fisheye lens, which helps give a unique feel from the other photos of the sculpture.

James Hance is an incredibly talented character artist and painter. His art features a wide range of Stars Wars, Muppets, celebrity and pop culture references.

Here's an exerpt from his website explaining his three distinct styles:"James appears to have three styles of painting, extremely expressive such as in one of a few depictions of Heath Ledger in the role of Joker, highly painterly in pieces such as his Starwars influenced tribute to the classic Hitchcock thriller North by Northwest and photorealistic "digitally enhanced" paintings such as The Gentle Sith. There are plenty of in-jokes in Hance's portfolio, and it does, from time to time, veer close to socio-cultural comment such as his hauntingly disturbing piece entitled 'Music and Me'."

This is a fantastic Batman comic illustration by illustrator Jock. It is composed mostly of simple lines and coloring, but the compilation of them creates a really impressive illustration. I find the "the black mirror" text at the bottom especially effective. It has a shaky handwritten style that further exemplifies the ominous feeling of the piece.
