I love these sometimes quirky, sometimes whimsical, always interesting, photos by Veronika Fasutmann. Instead of posing her models in the usual seductive poses, she captures them inthose special moments where something is about to change, when you feel "sweet sadness or great happiness."
If you ever wondered what your favorite webpage looks like behind the scenes, look no further. Jeff Lam and Josephine Yatar give us a humorous light-hearted look at the back of the most popular websites. Check out their Tumblr for future updates.
Loving the serene landscapes and calmness of Jeffry Surianto's photos. He has a great eye for spotting beautiful landscapes and capturing people in their element. I like how he captures people in the moment as opposed to staging them. It gives the photos a more genuine feel.
Carlos Nunez has an unbelievable knack for portraying women in the most beautiful light. Each shot brings out the best in his models. He describes his style as natural, soft, voyeuristic and erotic, I just call it awesome. Keep up the fantastic work Carlos.
If you haven't seen these animated gifs by Jamie Beck and Kevin Burg yet, you are in for a treat. These aren't your run of the mill early 90's gifs, they're more aptly called cinemagraphs by their creators. The idea for cinegraphs came up when the pair was preparing for Fashion Week. They wanted to tell more of a story than a single frame but didn't want the hassle of creating a video. I love the ones where you stare at the image, waiting to see what will happen. For more details about these awesome images, read the articles on Gawker and My Modern Metropolis. Don't forget to check out the rest of their amazing work on Tumblr.
