"This series of images freezes a moment of time in each dancer's aerial maneuver, and turns their movements into static sculptures that represents their motion and style. Original shots were stock photography and stylized to fit within the scene, sculptures and sets created entirely CGi." Art by Mike Campau

This is a wonderful black and white photo of a street in Lodz, Poland taken by Marcin Stawiarz. The contrast created by making this a black and white photo is what makes it so great.
The Unseen Beauty is a wonderful project by Dina Johnsen that provides a backstage look of the 2011 ballet season for The National Theatre in Belgrade. Here's a small glimpse of some of her shots from the book. Unfortunately, the book is not for sale. It was meant as a gift to The National Theatre in Belgrade.

These shots by Aoki are interesting and wonderfully simple. They are essentially the same shot: a person in the distance while the background converges at the horizon, but they are all remarkably interesting in their own right. I look forward to seeing more from Aoki in the future.
Bobby Causey creates amazingly detailed and realistic sculptures of movie characters. His renditions are so detailed, you could easily mistake the sculpture for the real thing. I especially love his work on the Joker, almost looks too realistic.
Here's some great digital artwork of Pierre Doucin aka Soemone. I love the way he blends different photo and shape elements into beautiful cohesive images. His images have a natural feel to them even though the content within them says otherwise.
