Sam Rohn specializes in stereographic panoramas aka little planet photos. Each one is unique and brings a fun twist to location shots. He also specializes in 360 degree panoramas and is a location scout for New York City. Check out more of his great work on his portfolio.
When you view Iain Crawford's photos, you can't help but wonder what made him come up with each idea. All of his photos have a unique, unconventional and beautiful extravagance about them. He has experimented with paints, powders and exceptional hair tosses.I can't wait to see what he might come up with next!
The irresistible Ana Beatriz Barros shot this spread for Sports Illustrated back in 2004. The photo above is just...wow. The others aren't too bad either. Shot by Walter Chin.
Zena Holloway specializes in underwater photography. These photos are just a small sampling of her awe-inspiring work. I love the poses and the way the dresses flow underwater. Be sure to check out more of her work on her portfolio. If you like this you will also like Behind the Surface by Nadia Moro.
Sandra Foster turned a small Catskills hunting cabin into a quaint Victorian cottage. It features vintage columns, flooring, and wavy glass windows. She also did her own carpentry. The very last photo shows the only entrance to the cottage, a stone crossing over a stream.
I absolutely love Bryan Soderlind's photo series of the abandoned Six Flags in New Orleans.
"Six Flags of New Orleans was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and has sat abandoned ever since. The park sits closed waiting for a demolition date that has yet to be determined. On a November road trip I did with the Fox wake crew, we snuck into the park with a winch to get some wakeskating photos. We had this post apocalyptic environment to ourselves for the whole day. I couldn’t stop taking pictures in this surreal setting which featured rusty old roller coasters, stuffed animals strewn about, and gator infested ponds. After speaking with some locals that evening about our day we found out we were extremely lucky as people who trespass there are regularly arrested. I had a better time that day in a closed theme park than I have ever had at an open one."
You should definitely check out all the other photo series by Soderlind on his journal. They are all spectacular. As a fellow Orlando resident, I especially appreciate the one entitled Orange Blossom Trail, which is just down the road from me.
Albulena Panduri (blue-a on Deviant Art) has created some absolutely stunning photo manipulations. Each one grabs you and draws you into a surreal and beautiful new world. I couldn't help but stare in awe at all of her fantasy worlds. I highly suggest checking out the rest of her gallery if you get a chance.
These are some incredibly interesting cut-out portraits by Lucas C. Simões. He takes a seemingly normal portrait and transforms it into something completely unique and interesting. These cut-outs are made from the same stacked image and have up to 13 layers. I love the abstract geometric figures and shapes he has created with these portraits.
